Sub-Units

1.0  Head of Unit
Responsible to the Registrar for the day-to-day administration and the co-ordination of the activities of the Units in the Academic Affairs Division.

2.0  Senate Matters

Officers in this Unit are responsible to assists the Academic Affairs Officer on Senate and Committee of Deans Matters in addition, carry out other activities as stated in the schedule of duties.

3.0  Academic Matters

Officers in this Unit assist the Registrar on matters relating to the matriculation of students, the administration and conduct of all University Examinations and issuance of students results/transcripts, also other activities stated in the schedule of duties are carried out.

4.0  Admissions

Officers in this Unit are responsible to the Academic Affairs Officer for matters relating to undergraduate admission exercise and performing other duties as directed by the Academic Affairs Officer and/or Registrar from time to time.

5.0 Examinations

This unit is responsible to the Academic Affairs Officer in matter relating to Examinations and other duties as directed by the Academic Affairs Officer and/or Registrar from time to time.

6.0 Records and Transcripts

Assists the Academic Affairs Officer in matters related to student’s records and results.

7.0  Students Statistics and Records Unit

Students Statistics Officers assists the Academic Affairs Officer in handling and maintaining student records.

8.0 System Analyst/Programmer

The System Analyst/Programmers are Responsible to the Head of the Unit.

Officers in this Unit perform the evaluation/analysis of existing data/record systems, designing, programming and implementation of automated ones with a view to improve on effectiveness and efficiency of information management in the Academic Affairs Office.
